How I’ll Help You

The Road to Emmaus
I chose the name Emmaus Therapy Services, as a reference to the story of two people’s encounter in the Gospel of Luke. The two were experiencing hopelessness and discouragement from the death of Jesus. As they walked, their Savior – disguised as He was from their eyes – came beside them and spoke with them as they traveled to a town named Emmaus. On the way, the two men with Jesus reflected on the news of an empty tomb. Their hope increased. Upon reaching their destination, their eyes were opened to the truth of the reality before them, and they were changed forever.
This is my desire for your therapeutic journey. Together, through connection and dialogue, truths would be made clear to you. And then, with the power of truth, your life will be changed.

Common Therapy Questions
Taking the first step to reach out to a counselor can be daunting. I recognize that and want to address some of the most common questions, including:
What will I talk about in therapy?
Is therapy confidential?
What is the cost of therapy?
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Do you accept insurance?
